Born in 1970 in Lebork in northern Poland, Adam Czulak grew up hearing the classical music to which his older brothers were devoted. At the age of 7 he started piano studies at Lebork Music School. Soon recognized as a gifted student, he was sent to the Gdansk National Music School.
In 1989, he was admitted into the Gdansk National Music Academy and 5 years later, was awarded the First Prize for Piano and Chamber Music.
Proving to be a remarkable singing accompanist Adam was awarded the Prize for Interpretation with distinction at the Lodz International Competition for Chamber Music, Poland.
Between 1993 and 1996 he performed in Poland and Germany under the aegis of the Gdansk Baltic Philharmony and the Polish Chamber Philharmony conducted by Wojciech Rajski. From 1998 to 1999 he obtained a Gold Medal for Chamber Music at the National Regional Academy of Rueil-Malmaison.
